Avanti came out of a lifelong love for endurance sport and the open road. Patrick McCrann and Jeffrey Capobianco built it after decades as athletes, coaches, and travelers, because the trips they wanted to take didn’t exist.

We measure vacations in miles and elevation gain, not hours by the pool. The ride sets the tone. Everything after it, the long lunch, the wine, the walk through town at dusk, lands differently when you’ve already put the work in.

Culture and food are not distractions from the riding. They are fuel for the next day.

We have been on the other kind of tour.

Rushed itineraries. Service that felt processed. Routes that could have been anywhere. We built Avanti to be the opposite of that, which mostly means we sweat the details so you never have to think about them.

The people matter more than the logistics.

Giacomo rides these roads year-round. Francesco knows which mechanic to call at nine at night in a valley with no signal. Andrea’s family have been feeding people in Tuscany for generations. They are not vendors we found online. They are people we ride with and eat with, and they were part of this before Avanti existed.

That is the difference, and you feel it on day three.

Avanti is more than a tour company. It is a small group of people who believe a week on the bike in the right place with the right company is worth doing properly.
